Research Agenda
Although my graduate training and fieldwork prepared me to be a field linguist, my undergraduate training was in English/Secondary Education. However, before even beginning my post-secondary education, I was always very interested in scripting and languages and databases, some of which makes an appearance in my research (e.g. AWK, PHP, Python, and MySQL). As a result, my research reflects my deep-rooted interest in and investment to interdisciplinary research that enables the coalescence of different academic perspectives. For this reason, my publications presentations, and projects focus broadly on four areas:
- Language Documentation & Description
- Discourse Analysis
- Linguistic Landscapes
- English/Writing/Linguistics Pedagogy
